We purchased a Enclosed Cargo Trailer in San Diego. Before we left the city we had called Greg and he was extremely kind and very customer service oriented. He said they were completely booked with appointments but he would do a quick check if I would bring the trailer by his office.

Greg was a delight to work with and took special time to go over the hitch and trailer with us. His knowledge of trailers was very impressive and his honesty and customer service skills were exceptional. He told us that the hitch was just fine and did not try to up sell us on anything. I think we did purchase a small light cover and he sent us on our way.

These guys are great. They hooked me up with a trailer hitch, a tow bar, and the braking system for my tow vehicle. It’s been a solid system that I’ve used for thousands of miles.

A nonsense place to get a trailer hitch on your vehicle. I called and they answered the phone right away (5 stars). They gave me a quote for a hitch specific to my vehicle and set up an appointment very quickly (5 stars). On the day of the appointment, they were ready and waiting and the whole thing took about 30 minutes (5 stars). As for payment, they add 3% if you use a credit card. I wish I knew that ahead of time so I could bring a debit card or cash (4 stars)

We had a great experience! We got set up with a tow bar, trailer hitch, braking system, all the wiring, and a base plate so we could tow our car behind our motorhome.
Greg worked with us, was very professional, and carefully explained everything about the process. Dave was responsible for installing the equipment. Dave gave us complete, thorough, and extremely helpful instructions about how to safely use our equipment and tow our car. He patiently answered every question and made sure we understood everything.

San Diego Trailer Supply had the 2″ hitch in stock that would for my 2018 Subaru Outback. I called that morning and had an appointment by that afternoon. It took about an hour. They suggested I install the hitch that shows the least which meant they took off the bumper to install it. It looks great. Greg helped me with getting a motorcycle carrier on and was really easy to work with. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could.

I don’t usually write reviews, but SD Trailer Supply does an incredible job, and their pricing is very reasonable. Used them to install a Duo Stay N Play braking system to my tow car. From intake with Greg, to follow up by Omar, and ultimately, dealing with Dave on the mechanical side, service was outstanding. Even after the work was done, Dave patiently explained the tow system and took me for a test drive to be sure everything worked properly. I will definitely use SD Trailer Supply for any additional work I need.

After writing my initial review saying I could have been happier, Greg reached out to me and offered a couple solutions to help. He told me they could either reimburse me for some of the time I think $90 or I could bring my van back in and they would move the pin tail to the outside by the hitch the same as they did on my wife’s vehicle. I opted to bring my van back in and am very pleased with the outcome which I will post a photo showing the outcome. Now I can say I am very happy and so glad and thankful they were willing to help me and get me to %100 satisfaction. Thanks again Greg and the folks at San Diego Trailer Supply. I’m going to start this one with my own qualifications: I’m an experienced second generation RVer and decent amateur mechanic, so I know both quality and the lack thereof in RV service centers well.

A few months ago, I decided I wanted a light duty pickup to take the place of the minivan that I’ve been towing behind my motorhome for the past 8 years. The best candidate was a first generation Colorado or Canyon, and after months of searching for a mint one, I found it and brought it home to San Diego.
I could install the base plate and other items necessary for towing myself, but lacking the time, I took it to SDTS instead. I had already decided what equipment to install, and they changed my mind on one item. They really know their stuff.
The install is extremely clean and neat. Dave did the work on my truck, and he’s not just an excellent mechanic, he’s a craftsman. While I could have installed the equipment myself, it wouldn’t look as neat or clean, and I have no fabrication skills. Dave made a couple of brackets to make everything fit better, and they are outstanding.

There’s not enough good things I can say about this place. the staff is what you would want in any trailer repair shop- efficient and honest.
I was told I can bring in my trailer on a Wednesday, but that it would not be looked at until Monday (totally understandable). Well that didn’t happen. I came in, they found the problem within 10 minutes, and billed me for about 10 minutes worth of work. I would have been happy to pay more, but they insisted on keeping their fees low.
I highly recommend this shop and their crew!

Considerate, experienced staff. Two interactions: first to install a trailer hitch, second to get shocks for a van.
Excellent work on the trailer hitch for my SUV. SD TS recommended by my mechanic, and they delivered!
Next I asked for an estimate for shocks/struts on my van. They recommended the right Köni shocks, and suggested others to do the work because of the tools needed for this specific install. This kind of response means they are true professionals who look out for their customers.

The owner/ manager reached out named Greg to acknowledge the situation. I asked myself what do you get from leaving feedback for a company good or bad? Then I realized to be heard and or for the situation to be heard. Greg offered a partial refund, store credit and sincere genuine care for a customer not feeling valued in his store. I respect and appreciate that and even the greatest owners/ employees/ customers have a bad day or moment we don’t need to hold over their head. I believe they truly cared about the situation and I respect that. I thought If this happened to my shop what would I do? How would I try to make it right if it was my employee? Kind, courteous, very knowledgeable, meticulous, honest, fair and just very nice people are words I would use to describe this business. I purchased a new car to be set up to be towed behind my motorhome. Greg and Rick spent a considerable amount of time discussing which set up would be best given my application. This was a more involved installation given the car manufacturers have mad it more difficult to get through the firewall and get to the rear end of vehicles. The installation was first class and turned out very nice. In addition, I wanted a rear mud flap on the motorhome to protect the new car from flying debris. Dave in service built a custom bracket to attach to the tow hitch assembly on the motorhome which looks like it came off the assembly line. It’s a real joy to work with a business that ensures quality to the last detail.

recently purchased a pull behind trailer from Campers World and couldn’t be happier the staff was amazing, and very helpful. but I have to send a HUGE shout out to Jennifer and Blake and to the guy (sorry I forgot his name) who walked us through our trailer making sure we knew as much as we possibly could about the trailer we just purchased. they even Walked us through a process when we got the trailer home. they all went above and beyond what they had to do to make everything work out for us. I have already told a few friends of mine that are about to be looking for an RV to go straight to Campers World. They take great care of their veterans and all their customers.
